Taylor Swift was not seen at the Kansas City Chiefs’ away game against the Denver Broncos in Denver, according to ELLE. She had appeared at a Toy Story 5 screening in New York City earlier that day; the report says she has attended Chiefs home games this season but has not been spotted at away games in the past two seasons.
Taylor Swift was not seen at the Kansas City Chiefs’ away game against the Denver Broncos in Denver, according to ELLE, after appearing at a Toy Story 5 screening in New York City earlier that day. The report says Swift has attended Kelce’s home games this season but has not been spotted at away games in the past two seasons; it does not establish why she was absent from this particular game.
Swift attended a Q&A at the New York screening, ELLE reported. She wrote the film’s song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which the report said had Oscar buzz. The report did not say whether Swift traveled to Denver after the event or whether she watched the game elsewhere.
ELLE described Swift as having attended all of Kelce’s home games this season, while not being seen at the Chiefs’ road games. It also said she had not been spotted at Kelce’s away games over the previous two seasons. Those details concern public sightings; they do not confirm whether she attended any game without being photographed.
The source report said security risks reportedly factored into the decision not to attend away games. It did not identify a specific security incident or provide details about who made a decision. The available information does not confirm that security was the reason for her absence in Denver.
Why Her Game-Day Presence Draws Attention
Swift’s attendance at Chiefs games has become a regular point of public interest because of her relationship with Travis Kelce, the team’s tight end. Her absence from a road game is a contrast with the home-game attendance described in the report, but it does not by itself show a change in their relationship or in her support for him.
The distinction between being unseen and not attending matters. A public sighting or television appearance can establish that Swift was visible; its absence cannot establish where she was during the game. The report’s account points to a busy day in New York and a broader pattern of not being spotted at away games, while leaving the reason for this specific absence unresolved.

A Pattern of Home-Game Sightings
Swift has publicly discussed the attention surrounding her appearances at Chiefs games. In a December 2023 interview with Time, she said she was there to support Kelce and did not know when broadcast cameras were showing her. She also said she could not tell whether she was being shown once or many times during a game.
ELLE noted that Swift attended some of Kelce’s games last year without being photographed. That distinction offers relevant context for the Denver report: not being photographed does not necessarily confirm nonattendance. In an October 2025 BBC Radio 2 interview with Scott Mills, Swift joked about disguising herself or entering places undetected when she wanted to avoid paparazzi attention.

What Her Absence Does Not Confirm
It is not clear why Swift was not seen in Denver. ELLE cited security risks as a factor reportedly affecting her away-game attendance, but the report did not confirm that this specifically explains the Broncos game. It also did not provide information about her travel plans, any private attendance, or whether she watched from another location.
The report’s wording is about sightings, not a verified account of Swift’s location throughout the game. No statement from Swift, Kelce, or the Chiefs about her absence was included in the supplied material. Claims about her reason for missing the game should therefore be treated as unconfirmed.
The Chiefs’ Next Home Fixture
ELLE said the Chiefs were scheduled to host the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium the following Sunday. Swift could attend, but the report did not confirm her plans. Whether she appears at that game—or is photographed there—would provide the next public update on her game-day attendance, not an explanation of why she was absent in Denver.
